The Nottingham and Notts BPE Open, Robin Hood, accepted three of my images: The Church In The Sea, Fog of War and Thou Shalt Have A Fishie. Lovely to see Jacob in there!
Good to support this local Salon, now that it has gained FIAP patronage. 7 acceptances, mostly established images, but a début in Internationals for Church in the Sea.
GBSPC consists of three Salons - Hoylake, Solway and Carlisle and is organised by West Cumbria Photo Group.
I had 23 images accepted and with three awards - a members award for Fog of War and TWO different judges awards for the mono version of 'Knock Knock Ginger', which is an image I rarely use, but must try more often now! Probably my best International result to date, very pleased with this one. It also gives me pretty much everything I need to apply for the EFIAP distinction next year. Two images accepted in the Neath BPE (Ascent and Fog of War) and four in Rushden, Lenticular Clouds, Camus Cove, Archangel and a new one - The Navigators.
This BPE event is different in judging panels of three images that need to work as a set on a theme.
The accepted panels are below, including a Commended for Another Place. |
