Now to work on the Distinction level!
The Credit award is the first distinction offered by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. A set of 10 images are submitted to a panel of 6 experienced judges who give a collective mark between 12 and 30 for each image individually. An average score of 20 (200 overall) is needed for the award. My panel scored 227, which is very pleasing and gives me the letters CPAGB after my name.
The images are below, with their scores beneath each. Now to work on the Distinction level! Two images accepted in the Neath BPE (Ascent and Fog of War) and four in Rushden, Lenticular Clouds, Camus Cove, Archangel and a new one - The Navigators.
This BPE event is different in judging panels of three images that need to work as a set on a theme.
The accepted panels are below, including a Commended for Another Place. 2 new composites, largely using older photos.
Thou Shalt Have A Fishie is an idea for a portrait of Jacob I've had for a while now, and The Spymaster is probably a result of Game of Thrones being back on TV soon! |
