Solace and Talacre Lighthouse both caught the judges eye, and given that these included the picture editor at the Sunday Times, Ray Wells, picture editor at the i, Sophie Batterbury, senior features writer at the Amateur Photographer magazine, Oliver Atwell, and the chief executive of the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society, Commodore Malcolm Williams, it is quite an honour. You can see a video of the judging process below, and the official announcement is here: http://shipwreckedmariners.org.uk/news-and-events/photography-competition-2016/ Further press coverage, with thanks to the Mariners excellent PR team, can be seen at a number of local and national outlets including: The Daily Mail The Express The Telegraph Liverpool Echo Northern Life Magazine Yahoo I also featured in the print versions of the Flintshire Leader and The i |
I was very pleased to have 2 of my images win their categories, and be a runner up overall, in this national competition run by the charity "The Shipwrecked Mariners Society". I look forward to the presentation ceremony in London next month.
